The Avaya 1608
Digital Telephone
The 1600 Series IP Telephones - one-X
Deskphone Value Edition are cost-effective IP Telephones designed to support
three user profiles: Walkup, Everyday and Navigator.
• Walkup users use phones in locations such as common areas in offices,
stockrooms, lobbies, or drop-in desks. Users are building visitors,
employees, or even customers who need a phone with a simple, familiar
interface.
• Everyday users typically rely on several forms of communication, including
voice and email. While Everyday users require a quality telephone, they
rarely receive more than five or six calls per day. Cubicle workers, and
sales staff within a retail store, are examples of Everyday users.
• Navigator Users (Branch receptionists and admins) are people who answer
incoming calls, transfer customers to different departments or extensions,
and monitor several line appearances throughout a typical day.
• Designed for the Everyday user profile.
• Supports eight line appearances/feature keys.
• Support for a broad portfolio of Avaya wired and wireless headsets through
its integrated headset jack.
• A context-sensitive user interface and three softkeys and a four-way
navigation cluster for scrolling through local contacts list or call logs.
• The display on the 1608 measures three lines by 24 characters.

Avaya 6221
Features List
Place a caller on hold to consult with a co-worker or gather
information, then pick up the call from the same set or extension, with
Set Hold.
Extend your communications system voice messaging to your analog sets,
with Message Waiting capabilities.
Save time in repeat dialing with Redial, which lets users
automatically call back the most recent telephone number dialed, with just a
touch of a button.
Use special features that are part of your communications switch with
the Flash function. It tells the switch that a user is activating a
special feature, not terminating the call and requiring a dial tone.
Easily connect a fax machine, modem, or laptop computer through your
6211, 6219, or 6221 telephone and its built-in Data Jack.
Increase productivity by moving smoothly and easily from one call to the
next, with Positive Disconnect. It ensures that your communications
system knows when a dial tone for a new call should be delivered—so users
can quickly make or take another call.
Desk or Wall Mountable
Handset Volume Control
Ringer Volume Control
Tone Dialing
Additional Capabilities:
Get the convenience of hands-free talking, with a built-in
Speakerphone in the 6221 telephone set.
“Turn off” background noise or conduct a side conversation while
listening to a call, using the Mute feature of the 6221 set. It lets
you block out noise at your end of a call while allowing the person at the
other end to continue speaking uninterrupted.
With the 6221 set, you can give a caller music-on-hold (if provided by
the switch) by administering the Hold button as System Hold.
Get fast, easy one-touch dialing for your frequently called numbers,
with Repertory Dialing in the 6221. You can program up to ten
telephone numbers, with up to 24 digits or elements each, and “lock” them
into the system using Program Keylock.
When users need to be alerted that a particular telephone is ringing,
they can simply flip a switch to select one of two distinctive rings for an
individual 6219 or 6221 telephone, with Personalized Ringing.
Purchase price $110.00
