Setup Instructions for AWH55+ Headset for 8410D Phones

1. Unplug the 8410 handset from the phone and plug it into the phone port on the bottom of the headset dock.
   
   
   Then plug the short cord from the headset dock into handset port on the 8410 phone.
   
2. Plug the RJ45 side that is stamped with '5' (on the clear plastic connector near the 8 pins) of the 8400ADJ cable into the EU24 port on the bottom of the headset dock. Press in firmly until you hear a click.
   
   
   Then plug the other end of the 8400ADJ cable that is stamped with 'D8AC' (on the clear plastic connector near the 8 pins) into the speaker port on the bottom of the 8410 phone.
   
   Note: Both connectors look identical, but each side will go in and click when fitted in the correct slot.
   
   
3. Remove protective cover from ring detector jack and plug in ring detector.
   
   
4. Remove cover from ring detector microphone and place over speaker on phone under the handset.
   
   
5. Plug power into the headset dock to complete the setup.
   
   

	To answer a call or get dial tone press the headset button once. To disconnect press the headset button a second time.
	To adjust the volume push the volume switch on the headset up to increase the volume and down to decrease it. To mute the headset push the volume switch in, there will be 3 rapid beeps indicating the headset is muted.
